Photography and filming consent

The college sometimes takes or commissions photographs or videos of students to record events, visits, or teaching activities. Such materials are used by the college and may be shared with partner institutions. The images may also appear in newsletters or other publications, on the college website or other online technology such as social media.

During induction, each student will be asked to sign a consent form that clearly details the level of permission they are willing to give regarding the use of photographs/video. For instance, they can choose for these to be limited to just remaining on their student file. Where appropriate, this form will be shared with parents so that you can discuss with your young person what they are willing to share.
