What is LIEN?

Leeds Inclusive Employer Network (LIEN) is a network of like-minded organisations that want to showcase best practice in inclusive and supported employment in their workplace. They come together at events to learn from each other, take part in training, hear from supporting organisations and hone skills they can take back and implement at work.

Leeds Inclusive Employer Network originated in Leeds, developed by members of the team at Lighthouse Futures Trust, and is led by their CEO, Katie Parlett MBE.

The benefits of joining LIEN

Leeds Inclusive Employer Network is free to join. We just ask that you are an active member of the network and look to make improvements at work, and share your learning with other members of the network.

The peer network is made up of companies and organisations of all kinds and attracts a wide range of people from different job roles and backgrounds, as well as presenters representing some of the leading companies in the UK.

Member events

As well as the regular networking events, we also run a series of free online training sessions. Additionally, we can offer bespoke training to your organisation. Bespoke sessions are run by members of the team from Lighthouse Futures Trust and we ask that a donation is made to the education charity to cover the cost of developing and running these. Find our more over on the LIEN Events page.

Resources

We have a library of resources that are available for members to use. These have been developed both by the LIEN team but also by network members or presenters at one of our events.

Please note that although this resources are free to use, we do ask that you treat them respectfully and ask that you only use them in the manner in which they are intended, to promote best practice around inclusive employment within your organisation. Visit the Resources page here.
